In 2018 Jeff Pearcy realized that changes occurred in the village far faster than he was able to keep up documentation. Dr. Kormoi assisted by identifying three junior high school aged students who are responsible, bright, and eager. (l to r, Kat, Moses, and Maryama). In December, Jeff returned to the village with three cameras that had been donated by himself and Tom Radoszewski. Pearcy relates, “I had only fifteen minutes to train these young people who had never held a camera before. This is the button to turn it on, and this is the button that takes a photo. Get close. Shoot what interests you. Each day they would return the cameras, I would download the photos, pick ones I liked, recharge the cameras. The next morning they would pick them up and I would let them know what I liked and why” Below is the first days of shooting.
